There is something powerful about spring.

After months of shorter days, colder temperatures, and unpredictable weather, spring arrives with more light, fresh air, and a renewed sense of possibility. It’s more than a change in season; it’s an invitation.

An invitation to move.
An invitation to reconnect.
An invitation to travel.
An invitation to rebuild.
An invitation to arrive.

Earlier this year, in my January workbook, I introduced the theme of Arrival not as a destination, but as a mindset. Arrival isn’t about getting “there.” It’s about stepping into who you are becoming, right now. It’s recognizing that growth isn’t something waiting for the future, it’s already happening.

Alongside that theme, I’ve been grounding myself in a simple but powerful mantra:
“I get to do this.”

It’s a mindset shift that changes everything.

Not I have to exercise…
I get to exercise.

Not I have to go for a walk…
I get to walk in nature.

Not I have to work…
I get to work with incredible leaders in my industry.

Not I have to travel for work…
I get to travel, share my voice and connect with industry leaders at conferences.

Not I have to teach class…
I get to move with others and inspire energy in a room.

Spring is the perfect season to embrace this mindset because everything around us is growing, awakening, and inviting us forward.

Spring Brings Physical Energy

As the weather improves, our natural instinct is to get outside, move more, and reconnect with our bodies and rebuild where necessary. Longer days give us more time to walk, run, bike, stretch, and explore, even take a vacation or go on an adventure.

Movement starts to feel less like a task and more like a privilege.

You may notice:

  • More motivation to move
  • Increased energy
  • A stronger desire to be outdoors
  • Improved sleep
  • Fewer mood disruptions

This isn’t a coincidence. It’s our bodies responding to light, warmth, and movement.

Spring reminds us that movement is a gift.

You don’t have to move…
You get to move.

You get to:

  • Walk in the sunshine
  • Try a new workout or fitness class
  • Stretch in the morning light
  • Use movement as medicine to rehabilitate your body
  • Reconnect with activities you love

Arrival begins when we shift from obligation to opportunity.

Spring Awakens Mental Clarity

Spring doesn’t just change how we move, it changes how we think.

The heaviness of winter begins to lift. Mental fog clears. We start thinking about what’s next: new goals, fresh routines, new possibilities.

This season invites reflection:

  • What do I want more of?
  • Where do I want to grow?
  • Who do I want to surround myself with?
  • How can I support my well-being more intentionally?

Arrival is about awareness and spring creates space to reset. It’s also a reminder to appreciate the opportunities in front of us:

  • I get to learn
  • I get to grow
  • I get to try again

This mindset builds resilience, gratitude, and forward momentum.

Emotional Renewal: Letting Go and Moving Forward

Spring is also a season of emotional renewal.

Just as trees shed what no longer serves them, we can let go of old habits, limiting beliefs, or routines that drain our energy.

Arrival means giving yourself permission to evolve.

That might look like:

  • Starting a new fitness routine
  • Prioritizing self-care
  • Setting healthier boundaries
  • Trying something that stretches you

And when you do, remind yourself:

  • I get to become stronger
  • I get to feel better
  • I get to create change

Small steps create meaningful transformation.

Social Connection Blossoms in Spring

One of the most beautiful things about spring is how it brings people together.

Patios open. Parks fill. Walking and running groups form. Outdoor training begins. Community comes alive again.

After months indoors, we reconnect and that connection fuels our well-being.

You get to:

  • Spend time with old friends
  • Meet new people
  • Join a group fitness class
  • Walk and talk with someone you care about

Movement becomes more meaningful when it’s shared. Arrival isn’t just personal, it’s collective. We rise together.

This Is Your Season to Arrive

Spring reminds us that growth is natural. Renewal is possible. Energy returns.

You don’t need to wait for the perfect time…spring is that time!

Arrive in your body.
Arrive in your mindset.
Arrive in your relationships.
Arrive in your purpose.

And as you do, return to the mantra:
I get to do this.
I get to move.
I get to breathe fresh air.
I get to connect.
I get to grow.
I get to live fully.

Spring has arrived and so have you.
This is your season of energy.
Your season of growth.
Your season of Arrival.
Let’s MO’ve forward together.
